A lovely afternoon out at Leeds Castle (thankfully in Kent, rather than Leeds). £15/head, with validity of the ticket for the full year means that we can go back again and again.
Yesterday we walked through the grounds (passing a white peacock – stunning) and then had an ice cream, and pottered round the aviary where there were lots of parrots and macaws.
Things to which to look forward:
- Falconry displays (the husband is particularly keen on this)
- Maze and Grotto
- The Castle itself.
So – plenty to do over the next few visits.
