The Husband and I have now finished our grand tour of CSI Vegas and New York (we’re not too keen on Miami) and so have taken up a DVD rental subscription once more. The first to arrive was Frost/Nixon.
I had wanted to go and see this when it was playing in theatre in town, but didn’t get round to it. So – great joy when I heard that a film version was being made.
The Husband and I gave this a 5/5 rating. Michael Sheen is an uncanny mimic, (but you can’t quite dismiss Tony Blair/Kenneth Williams from mind when looking at him) and has certainly changed my view of David Frost from the man who does the Sunday chat show.
“Intelligent and gripping. It were good”, quoth he. I concur.
